 Polar Animals

Polar regions are one of the harshest habitats like deserts, where the temperature can fall -100 degrees celsius, the animals that live there adapt themselves to live I such harsh conditions, there a very little number of animals live because of the harsh climate, for the six months there is night and for another six months there are days, the animals like a polar bear adapt themselves for the harsh nights when the temperature is very less as compared to days, the polar bears have a very thick layer of fat that keeps them warm and the food they eat in the days is stored with the fat and in the nights they do hibernation a very long sleep for six months, the fat stored gives them energy for the six months of nights. In the world, there are two poles or polar regions, the Arctic where the polar bear lives in the south pole, and the Antarctic where the penguins live in the north pole. On the days in the south pole, the ice begins to melt and the polar bears have to eat fish as much as they can to store fat, for this they have to hunt fish in the water.
