Like Animals plants also adapt themselves to live in different and harsh habitats like the cactus found in deserts, they had adapted themselves to live in the harsh conditions like deserts where there is no water, they have spines that prevents it from losing water and very long roots to get the water deep in the soil, the desert plants do transpiration only at night when it is cool so that they doesn't lose water and in the day the temperature is high so if they will do transpiration in the day the water will evaporate in the air. There are different plants that have adapted themselves, some plants live in water and some in forests and etc.
