Desert is one of the harshest habitats due to its harsh environment and dry conditions with no rainfall. There a variety of animals live but not with a large population like forests, the animals that live in deserts adapt themselves to live in such harsh conditions. One of the best examples is the Camel, they have fully adapted themselves to live in such harsh conditions like they have a hump which is used to store fat which is utilized when there is a lack of food and helps them in giving energy as the fat stored in the hump is finished then their hump squeezes and they do not sweat so that the temperature of their body maintains. There lives a variety of animals like lizards, Scorpions, Fox and etc. those have adapted themselves like the Camels.
